Hi there, I found your blog via google, because I guess I am looking for some incentive and motivation to stop pulling. I recently ordered Abby Leora Rohrer's Pull Free At Last online book, but am quite frankly irritated that now all I get are e-mail invitations to join her online university for $117/mo. So just reading the book won't be enough? Grrr!!

Stress triggers my pulling and I am currently sporting a lovely one-side-shorter-than-the-other do, the shorter side of which I am filling in with dark brown eyeliner until it grows in enough that I don't look ridiculous. I have even dusted off the old wigs I last wore 5 years ago at this time. My twin sister has beautiful long hair and as much as I long for the same look, I just keep messing up!

Anyway, I've bookmarked your site and will be a frequent visitor. I'm hoping I can get inspired to stop. Want to try it together?

Hmmm I understand that conflict thing about not caring if you pull. Sometimes I just think, why shouldn't I just sit here and pull out all my hair? But usually I keep changing. Like you say, one day at a time...
